Based in Adelaide, Santos is one of Australia’s biggest companies and a leading producer of oil and gas in the Asia-Pacific region.
I was regularly commissioned by Santos to write for its in-house magazine ‘Santos Life’. I wrote a variety of articles for several different editions of the magazine. These included: practical articles on health in extreme climates and how to avoid heatstroke; writing about a wide variety of different projects Santos is engaged in, including its community engagement; and staff and team profiles, where I interviewed Santos staff across Australia and overseas to find out what makes them tick and to learn more about their professional achievements.
In addition to the print magazine ‘Santos Life’, I also wrote numerous articles for the company’s internal online newsletter. These pieces covered a wide array of topics, from award-winning technological breakthroughs developed by Santos engineers and scientists, to staff profiles, to coverage of the company’s annual awards ceremony.
